Since the fabric I like to work with is very expensive, I’ve started making smaller plushies. This little delight is a combination of a few patterns I had lying around and decided to try out. it's a prototype as there as some major obvious (not so much in the photos) pattern errors that need to be fixed to make it easier to sew.
I'm not a fan of the ears, I think I’ll redo them and make them a bit higher. Also not sure about the head shape, thinking of making the back part of the head in two parts instead of one, but it's growing on me. Also the eyes are too close together, but that's an easy fix for the next one.
That bit of orange faux fur is a fabric sample I was sent that conveniently fit, I just can't bring myself to make a fox without a "bushy" tail.
I will be making these as a set of four (red, arctic, silver and fennec) but whether or not I sell them here or just make some for cons depends on people reaction.
it is 4" long (8 including the tail) and make of Minky, felt (ears) and super long luxurious faux fur for the tail. Stuffed with beans and plastic safety eyes and nose
that's all my ramblings, any suggestions on it let me know!
And yes, maybe smaller and higher ears would be better ^^
You're welcome
