This is the first of my new type of artwork, I have drawn artwork like this before but only a few times, but i'm going to start doing it all the time now, if you have read my latest journal then you will know that I habe stopped doing anime art for something I find more rewarding. This took me HOURS over 5 hours just on her, then more on the background.

Basically what I did is got a stock photo and fully repainted it (so the photo layer isn't there anymore) then changed everything about it. The character is Ashlea Dainger, and no shes not royal, she is just known as the "ice princess"

I hope you all like it and don't mourn my anime to much, this is so much more challenging and rewarding

it has like a thing around the middle, but yeah not really realistic, but thats what I love about drawing, you can make impractical outfits and no one cares :D and glad you like the colours I spent alot of agony thinking of which shades of blue to use where

woah, super amazing! this is by far your best yet, its just so good! the details in it, the hair, the shading, everything.

and the outfit is super cool :D i wish i could get away with wearing something like that

yaaaays i'm getting the reactions I wanted that means its working :D I'm so glad you like it, the background was oh so long and painfull all those ice-rocks needed painting individually and ohhh so annoying =p. and yep Ashlea has a thing for revealing outfits =p, my next picture will be Kabiya amongst wolves... that might take awhile =p i've done one like this already but I can't submit it till after mothers day because my mum might see it :iconohnoesplz:

The heels are a nice shape and the colour scheme is quite striking :)
